On well-defined, short-term projects, we can give you a fixed-price estimate before starting work, with the payment not due until the project is finished. More complex projects will require incremental hourly billing. Our general guidelines are listed below to help you figure out your potential liability before you choose to contact us. Of course, we will be quite happy to discuss any of this with you before starting work. We do not want to create any unwelcome surprises.
Hourly rate: $70/hour
Discount available for non-profit organizations.
A basic 5-6 page website generally takes approximately 10 hours to complete, including creating custom graphics and writing content based on company brochure or other material.
Scripts to perform searches or collect information are frequently less than a 4-hour effort. Don't forget that sometimes what looks like one function can actually be two or three scripts running in sequence.

If you already have your data in a spreadsheet, such as Excel, creating the database may be very straight-forward, perhaps just an hour. Entering the data from printed material, or even just cleaning up files that have accuracy problems, can be time-consuming. We have done that for such lists as radio stations, books, and businesses. A 25% discount will be applied to such work.
