Daddy killed two copperhead snakes that weekend that were threatening the camp. One of them was at night while he was walking toward his tent carrying a flashlight. He pinned down the snake with a forked snakestick and then held the stick and the flashlight in one hand while shooting the snake's head using the other hand. Quite a juggling feat! Anne skinned this one and Wendy did the other.

This snake had eaten a mouse and maybe a small bird.
