Sarah must have done something really funny because the
grownups are all cracking up, even Granddaddy Norford.
The girls' daycare provide, Gaby, got married to Ron
and invited all 'her' children to attend the wedding.
Wendy and David visited us in the Spring, half as
vacation and half to help us with a bit of
daycare while Gaby and Ron were on their honeymoon.
We had a large above-ground pool put in the top level

Sarah helps Daddy pour a concrete pad for a small
storage shed.
We picnicked with the Sweitzers at Vasquez Rocks,
an area of up-thrust rocks north of LA.
These rocks have been used in a variety of movies
and TV shows so they may look familiar.
The little blue and white dot is Sarah climbing the rocks.
Another view of Vasquez Rocks. Sarah was
just too cute to not include this picture.
The kids enjoyed climbing the large pepper tree
right by our picnic table. Here's Sarah...
and here's Lisa.
We traveled to Cleveland for Beth and John's wedding

We took Anne's father to Rosati's Pizza when he
came for a visit. It's in Woodland Hills and was
our favorite pizza place for years, until we moved to
Moorpark.
Polar Bear Lisa attacks Mommy. Anne made
this costume and a matching smaller one for Sarah.

We drove to Albuquerque to visit with the Hlavas and
Kimmels for Christmas.
We toured the Bosque which is a bird refuge
a couple hours drive south of
Albuquerque. We saw sandhill cranes, but we

The snow was fun, too.
Glenn Kimmel entertained Sarah with bubbles.
Paul decided that Glen needed a colorful pair of suspenders to
truly fit in.
We drove through the Petrified Forest area on the way
