Wow! Laundry baskets are exciting!
Happy 1st birthday, Jenny!
Jenny was almost too small to gather these pine cones
during a jaunt to the Angeles Crest.
Sarah found one her size, too.
Jenny has both a cookie and popcorn!
Anne made medieval costumes for the girls to wear
to school for a special project.
Sarah joined a Daisy Troop at school.
Lisa's class did a performance.

Everyone selected some reading material, even Jenny.
In April, we traveled back east. We
made a point of seeing the Norford grandparents
in Verona.
Granddaddy and Greatgranddaddy play a duet on their
harmonicas.
We then traveled to Florida with other Hubbell
Family Historical Society members to witness the
launch of the shuttle containing the Hubble
Space Telescope.
While there, we toured some of the historical
rockets, too.
The hotel we all stayed at invited all HFHS members to
sign this section of wall as a memento of the occasion.
Our next stop was Tampa to visit with Roger and Carol.
On this visit, Roger and Carol staged a treasure
hunt in the sand with small trinkets and coins.
Anne took this picture as Roger kept the boat moving since
we were in a main channel.
Aunt Carol and some of her neighbors organized
this Easter Carnival for their children. At this
point, Aunt Carol and Uncle Roger didn't have their
own children, but they 'adopted' ours for the event.
Sarah invited a number of her friends from school to
help her celebrate her birthday. They did face-painting.
And she got a family party with the Sweitzers.

Grandma and Grandpa Cooper graciously agreed to take care of
the girls while Glen and Anne escaped to Florida for
a week of relaxation. We all started out at the cottage.

Roger and Carol took us to an island that was the site
of an old Civil War era fort.
We picnicked with the Sweitzers at Vasquez Rocks.

Narrow-leaved Blue-Eyed Grass. Anne found this plant
on the playground as a child and transplanted it home.
Mother and Dad still have it growing in their yard, as
seen here.
We paid a trick-or-treating visit to Gaby. She is holding
her son Nicholas. The stuffed dummies represent
Gaby, Ron and Nicholas.

Lisa was the Head Angel and Sarah was Mary in the
annual Christmas Pageant at Knollwood UMC.

Grandmommy made these stuffed animals from socks.
Jenny models Glen's old pajamas. They were his when he
was two.
