Fall 1999

With the impending addition to our family, we decided to enclose the patio and add another room to the house. First, the patio cover had to come down. Rather than pay to have it demolished, we did it ourselves.

We hired a contractor to do the foundation and erect the pre-fab sunroom.

The kids enjoyed the open space in the new room. It was just right for building a large track layout.

Roger actually fits in this pot!

Roger looks cool in his sunglasses!

This is pretty tricky balancing.

Roger is intent on the TV.

Pillow fight!

Choosing just the right pumpkin at Valley Farms.

Roger 'drives' the tractor at the pumpkin patch.

Sarah and her friends dressed as miners for Halloween and Roger was a Teletubby, Laa-Laa.

Jenny was a black cat. She is posing here with Kurt Sweitzer who was a character from the Star Wars movie. They're in front of our garage which we turned into a witch's cave for Halloween.

Another view of our witch's cave and caldrun.

Lisa and Lydia dressed as Team Rocket, the bad guys on Pokemon. Lydia made her mom a T-shirt that read "PokeMom."

Roger has discovered a way to reach and manipulate the TV controls. We occasionally end up with odd-colored Teletubbies if he's changed the tint control.

Christmas Elmo made a hit. No, it's not Christmas yet; I just couldn't resist this stuffed animal on sale for $4.

A winning photograph by Jenny. She can set up some good shots and Roger likes to ham it up for her.
