Lake Lure 1999



The Cooper family gathered at Lake Lure in North Carolina to celebrate Mom and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary.

By chance, we met Jerry's family while waiting for our baggage and the rental car.




Our first family activity was a picnic, compliments of Laurie and Beth.









Glen did some of the grilling.

Most of the cousins splashed around in the creek.

Megan took great delight in pouring water over Aunt Anne.

We all took a guided boat tour of Lake Lure.




Grandma decided to celebrate Christmas in July.
