Summer 2001

Roger was looking cute, so Jenny just had to take some pictures.

Alan likes to swing from Glen's desk.

Roger still likes his baby doll. Of course, sometimes he just tosses the baby on the floor, too.

Lisa entertained the boys with Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head.

Jenny made a picnic lunch for the boys, complete with scambled eggs.

I've been working on creating a sierra-like forest in one corner of the yard. Alan is digging in the sand behind the trees.

Daniel John McGreevy was born on August 19th. He's just a few days old in this picture with Molly.

And on the 24th of August, the McGreevy's moved to their new, much larger, house, still in Simi. We catered a dinner to their new porch the night before, since they were busy packing, including the kitchen, of course. We brought sloppy joe in a crockpot and paper plates and chairs ... everything. The idea was to not even set foot in the new house, unless it was OK. The carpet was still being laid.

Lisa celebrated her 18th birthday on September 2nd.

September 16th was moving day for Lisa. Parking was limited near the dorm so we were allowed to park long enough to unload to a pile on the grass. Then Glen had to move the car to a more distant parking lot.

Lisa and her roommate Lauren both decided to raise their beds and put the desks underneath. It makes for a much more spacious dormroom.

This is the view from Lisa's dorm room. She is closer to the beach than to many of her classes. It's just a 5 minute walk over to the bluff and down the stairs.
