Somehow, the little show on the train featured an
alien, Santa, a snowman, a bear, an elf, and Mrs. Claus.
There wasn't a big plot.
We celebrated Christmas with the Sweitzers on
December 22nd. The children were all present, although
they're definitely bigger now than the last time I
took one of these pictures. David is 25, Jason 21,
Lisa 19, Sarah 17, Kurt 14, Jenny 13, Roger 4, and Alan 2.
Roger was thrilled with his gift of an aircraft carrier
model with several different planes to play take-off and
landing.
Christmas morning.
Roger liked the cinnamon rolls for breakfast.
Lisa gave Roger the game of Sorry, figuring that
it would be more fun than Candyland for her to play with him.
After initial dismay about the 'Sorry' rule, Roger
really liked the game.
We made traditional Christmas pizza for dinner on the 25th.
Mother and Dad had been retrieved from LAX by Glen and
Jenny in the afternoon, so they got their own special pizza.
Jenny is ready on the morning of the 26th to distribute
these loaded stockings.
Alan digs to the bottom of his stocking.
Aunt Wendy and Uncle Steve gave Roger this door easel.
Thank goodness he was willing to share with Jenny and Alan.
