Santa Barbara Zoo

We drove up to see the girls on September 20th. There were a couple of desirable items they hadn't packed: Sarah hadn't realized that she could put up her Beauty and the Beast lithographs on the walls and Lisa was purchasing an older-model laptop from Quality Logic. We also brought back empty bins so they wouldn't have to store them all year. While we were there, I wanted to do something special with the day, so we went to the zoo. Sarah opted out, due to a BBQ scheduled by her dorm, but Lisa likes checking up on the Channel Island Foxes any time she has a chance. Jenny wasn't with us because the MHS Marching Band was playing at a local football game.

After the zoo, we stopped at a Trader Joe's for low-carb cereal, nuts, and a treat of dark-chocolate-covered coffee beans for Lisa. She doesn't drink coffee, but she likes this form of caffeine. Then we did a leisurely dinner at KFC.
