After dinner at Toppers with the McGreevys, they led us to
a house that had been decorated with model trains.
This miniature welder caught Glen's eye. The flashing
light mimics a welder's sparks.
These people also had beautiful hand-made wooden cut-outs
all over the yard and on the roof. This nativity is
one of the nicest I've seen.
Danny and Alan watch Pikachu Saves Christmas while the
rest of us play Apples to Apples.
Roger talked Dad and Granddaddy into a guys' game of
Scrabble.
Lisa got a DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) system on sale
so it had to be tried out. The boys are immitating
Jenny's steps on the mat.
Alan really likes his present from Aunt Wendy and Uncle Steve.
It's a chemistry book and kit.
One of the experiments is to make carbon dioxide from
vinegar and baking soda and have it fill the balloon.
Another experiement explored solid/liquid/gas phase changes
by making and then lighting a candle.
Lisa plays Tropico with plenty of consultants.
Sarah and Grandmommy relax with a football game.
Jenny had the chance to go with some of her friends to work
on the flowers for the Rose Parade floats. They work as
volunteers and their organization (in this case, Girl Scouts)
gets paid by the float sponsor. These are samples of the
rose petals she worked with, putting each rose in a tiny
vial.

We took a tour of Fillmore and Piru and saw the Santa Clara
River with a bit of water in it.
Mother and Dad treated us to a dinner at Szechwuan Garden
for the birthday celebration.
Of course, Mu Shu had to be on the menu.
