West Virginia University

Jenny and I drove to Morgantown, WV to check out WVU. Sarah stayed in Brecksville with the boys for the day. They did an excursion in the National Park with Grandpa.

Much of the campus seems to be under construction.

Lots of open space in the commons area.

The honors dorm is right next to the commons. Our tour guide is in the green shirt.

Boarding the bus to tour the other end of campus where most of the dorms are.

A typical dorm room.

The dining commons included several specialty areas and even had the option of cooking a student's favorite recipe from home.

Personal Transportation System, an on-demand method of transporting students quickly from one part of campus to the other.

The Monongahela River on which Morgantown is built. We liked the sign pointing to the Moon River Trail.

Passing through western Pennsylvania we spotted some interesting sights, such as this 84 Lumber store. Glen worked hard at an 84 Lumber store during summers between college terms.

We were vaguely tempted to follow this sign in honor of Uncle Roger and Little Roger.

Do you suppose they would have given us a discount?

Crossing the Ohio River from the northern tip of West Virginia into Ohio.

And here's the river.
