Road Across Wyoming

This was mostly a travel day. We drove from Cody, Wyoming to the Black Hills.

Alan plays games on the laptop using the wireless keyboard. The laptop served several functions. Not only did it have some games, it also played DVDs and, most importantly, allowed me to offload pictures from my camera and refill the memory cards.

These planes were parked right next to a rest area.

They made me take a picture of this place!

Bighorn National Forest was a pleasant surprise. The road switchbacked through the mountains to get to I-90.

What a great rest area!

The picnic area was well-equipped with a shielded spot for cooking and a water spigot.

And Alan liked the swings.

Coal plant. Notice the black pile to the right.
