1st day of 2nd grade for Alan. He's in Mrs. Hartnett's
class (just like Sarah, Jenny, and Roger!). The instructional aide is Mrs. Swenson, seen standing here.
A portion of the beach near Jenny's dorm.
I brought Danny McGreevy and the boys up to visit with Jenny
while Glen was in Ohio.
We checked out the tidepools and found several starfish and
anemones.
And we took time to enjoy the sand.
Alan wanted to try making fog with dry ice, as he had read
in his library book.
The boys have discovered a couple of friends who bring DS's to the
park on Fridays, David and Ricardo. They're both in the Boys & Girls
Club and that group spends 40 minutes in the park every Friday
while waiting for their van.
Glen surprised me with tulips one Tuesday.
Alan decorated this lunch bag for his field trip to
the Civil War Reenactment.
Sarah and Jenny came home for the weekend of 11-10. Everyone
pitched in to get Sarah's car clean.

Sarah, Jenny and Mom went shopping on Saturday (note the
Kohl's bag), and then we had a nice family game night before
Sarah drove home to her place. Jenny's friend Heidi joined
us for some hamburgers and Apples-to-Apples. Jenny stayed the
rest of the 3-day weekend and took the train back to school.

October's virtue of Citizenship was recognized at the
mid-November Peach Hill Posse assembly.
Roger received this certificate for exemplifying 'Citizenship'.

This very nice article about QualityLogic appeared in our paper.
It does a nice job of explaining what QLI and its employees, who
include Glen, do. He was amused that our old turn-table
appeared in one of the pictures. He'd taken it in for some
project a while ago.
