Snow Day

When leaving, we thought we might try driving toward Pine Mountain Club, just to sightsee. The road condition quickly convinced us that it would be more prudent to turn around.

Road conditions were similar heading toward Frazier Park.

The car's thermometer said 29 as we headed out. It had read 27 at one point before I thought to take a picture.

Falling snow at the truck stop in Frazier Park.

Accumulation while waiting to fill tank and make restroom stops.

Alan and Roger watch the snow from inside McDonald's.

McSnow!

Since this was Alan's actual birthday, we made the day extra special by having whatever snack anyone wanted.

Then on to the freeway and home.

By the time Santa Clarita was in sight, the weather had cleared.

We had a beautiful sunset to watch while driving west on the 126.
