Lisa Enroute to Hawaii

We saw Lisa both going and coming from Hawaii. She paused here briefly on her outbound trip and her friend Vickie came over to see her. We even sneaked a game of Tripoli in the schedule.

Then we dropped her off at LAX. She chose to vacation in Hawaii in April because it's cold in Iowa in the winter and she was tired of that. She made reservations for a hostel there, which was a nice way to meet people and have someone to do some of the activities with. She also took a day trip from Oahu to Hawaii to see the volcanos.

On the return trip, Lisa's luggage held varied and marvelous things, such as macademias!

Glen cut the sugarcane for us to try.

I'm chewing a piece of sugarcane while Roger thinks about trying some.

Sarah brought Jenny with her from IV/UCSB so we could all be together.

Roger likes his new Hawaiian turtle shirt.

Roger also hammed it up with a sarong and paper spear and headdress that Alan made for him so he could impersonate King Kamehameha.
