Alan made sure we got the tree out and assembled shortly
after Thanksgiving.
Chris's parents, Oscar and Gladys, sent a lovely wreath
which looked just right above the fireplace.
The 3rd graders from Highland Elementary did a Christmas
show entitled "A Penquin Christmas". The penguins are
from Hollywood and want to take over the North Pole for
a special. Alan was part of the supporting chorus.
Bad news: on December 3rd, Glen's job evaporated.
Once he posted a newly-revamped resume, he started fielding
calls from recruiters and had to acquire a suit for interviews.
The Echo Hills Club holds a Christmas party in the Brecksville
Rec Center.
We got a few outside lights and the Grinch put up.
Echo Hills does luminaria. 10 bags with candle and sand are
distributed to each household.

Unfortunately, this year it was bitterly cold on the
designated day, so it was tricky to get them lit. The lighter
didn't work as well in the cold.
By December 22nd we had all five kids in-house. They explored
the frozen creek behind the house.

Chris arrived late on Christmas Day (midnight). So now
Roger could enjoy shooting some hoops with him.
Sarah and Chris model their new shirts from the Rock & Roll
Museum in Cleveland, which the older kids toured on the
30th.
The birds were busy feasting once the snow melted.

We had a casual family and friends party with Grandparents,
Aunt Laurie and Uncle Rudy, and the Olsens.
Since the rest of the family missed going to Maryland for
Christmas, I brought the gifts back with me in January.
Roger likes his fierce 3-headed dragon from Grandmommy.
Alan watches his new tornado machine intently.
