After listening to the instructions, they went to the water's
edge and collected some samples to test for turbidity, Ph, and
something else.
After discussing their results (the water got a 'D'),
they took a peek at an old canal lock.
This beehive was hanging over the lock.
Then back to the Center for lunch.
After lunch, they studied a building built to be enviromentally
friendly. Then they worked together to decide on what
elements they might incorporate in their own building design, which
they designated 'The Green Coffee Shop'.
Finally, they made rough models of 'The Green Coffee Shop' which would
be presented later in the week to the whole class.
