We did a quick reconnaissance of the creek.
The logs that fell when the top half of the really dead
tree came down in October.
The first of several rounds of Apples to Apples.
Roger decided to be a pirate.
John took this picture of what we're using our wetbar
for -- soda!
We had to go to the McDonalds in North Royalton with the
3-story playplace. We'd been there together in 2006.
Good Buddies.
After lunch, Lisa took the boys home via the library.
The rest of us went to see Aunt Ruth McGreevy, our
common bond.
Aunt Ruth has her granddaughter Kathleen living with her,
and Kathleen's children. Kayla was very entertaining,
insisting on doing egg hunts with her great-grandmother
and us.
We met Tom and Dawn McGreevy at Dawn's family's pizza
place.
We were having such a good time getting to know Tom and Dawn
that we decided to get some ice cream and head back to
the house for more Apples to Apples.
Meanwhile, Alan was busy constructing a bridge in Roblox.
Lisa had researched things to do in Cleveland and really
wanted to see the West Side Market, an historic
landmark and active market.
John contemplates which sausage to try.
Lisa likes looking at the cakes.
The end result of the shopping was a pasta night with all
kinds of good stuff.
We indulged in more Apples to Apples.
Alan played this time, and reveled in judging.
The Zany Card.
On one of our expeditions, we drove past the homes that
back on to the creek behind our house. We picked this
house for John and Molly to buy.
The boys loved having Lisa play DS with them.
Lisa is bemused -- Molly accidently put Lisa's shoes on
instead of her own!
John was pleased when this train on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic
Railroad came past while he and Glen were
driving along Riverview.
We introduced the McGreevys to a new game, Ticket to Ride,
that Lisa had given me for my birthday. They liked it so much
that Molly got a set for them once they got home. Dan is
reportedly a master at the game now.
Dad, John, and Glen went golfing while the rest of us
went to the Akron Zoo.
One last swing before heading to the airport.
