April 27th's hike was to Hinckley Lake. There's a nice swimming area below the dam.

There's a small marina where you can rent boats.
They also have a snack bar and gift shop, even a fireplace
that would be welcome in cooler weather.

May 4th: a hike to Buttermilk Falls with Jerry.
The creek supports a few minnows.
We took time to explore the remains of what must have been a set of bridge abuttments.
