Living History Farm


Mother and I took the HFHS-chartered bus over to the Living History Farm and lunch venue, while Glen drove the rest of our group over. It was pouring rain.




Lunch for our Hubbell group was at the adjacent restaurant.

After lunch, Lisa led the way over to the Living History Farm.




Historic buildings had been gathered together to create a town.




Reenacters showcased the different shops.




The milliner had lovely hat trims and a variety of laces.









The printer was experimenting with playing card designs.














We asked what remedies the apothecary might have for a common cold.














The general store had some nifty tools.




Even a drawknife, which Glen had been looking for.

Our favorite was the blacksmith.









Alan got to work the bellows to stoke up the fire.
