Wendy made Glen's day with crustless coconut cream pies and pecan pies in ramekins.
Floyd Mauer joined us for dessert. He was Dad's friend and housemate before either of them
were married, and now he lives right across the street at Asbury.

Mother had managed to put her gift out of mind and be surprised after all. I got it for her
in Old Town ABQ when she and I were there in September. It's a Posada doll set,
representing the traditional procession of Mary & Joseph looking for a space at an inn.
