We took a hike in early April to see the Bald Eagle nest by the Cuyahoga River north of
Rt 82.
Nice walk along the towpath to get to a good view point for the nest.
There's the nest, across the river, a little left of center in this image.
My best shot with my little camera.
Glen tried out my father's large lens with his new camera.
But the eagles weren't in the nest. We'd seen them last year, and waited for a while
for a parent bird to return.
Another bird-watcher spotted the eagle a smidgeon upstream, perched on top of a tree.
Meanwhile, a heron flew into a closer sycamore tree.
And then took off again.
