HAH gathering

The descendants of Howard Adams Hubbell (HAH) gathered at our house after the THFHS reunion wrapped up.

Wendy, Steve, and Vanessa joined us and pitched in that morning to help set up.

Glen got a bunch of rotisserie chickens which he and Steve then cut up for lunch.

Aunt Mary, Barbara Kruse, Paul Hlava, and Mother. Barbara isn't actually one of the HAH, but we were delighted she accepted our invitation to be an honorary member.

The afternoon entertainment included a hike to Beaver Marsh on the towpath in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. More energetic family members also hiked around Brandywine Falls.

These frogs are easy to hear, but tough to spot.

Campfire!

So wish Dad were here with his harmonica, but we did have a ceremonial reading of The Cremation of Sam Mcgee.

Paul and Julia were also included as honorary HAH members. Holly Hlava is married to Julia's brother and she and Ryan were staying with them while attending the Hubbell events.

Ryan's daughter Miranda and Vanessa.
