On Tuesday, Alan and Anne joined the group on the bus tour. We started at the Art Museum.

The Hubbell connection for the Art Museum is that a Hubbell was the original architect of the
building over 100 years ago.
Amazingly, the staff got out the old blueprints and actually allowed us to look and handle them.
Then on to view some of the artwork.
Alan liked this one.
The museum also has a collection of medieval armor and weaponry.
Anne was fascinated with Maximillian's armor.

Alan particularly wanted to revisit these paintings after lunch. We had
about 20 minutes while most of the group went to the gift shop.



Anne found these faces from 2000 years ago compelling.
Next stop: The Crawford Auto and Aviation Museum.


The Hubbell connection here is the display of Charles Hubbell's aviation paintings.
These, too, are the work of Charles Hubbell.

And then there was the historical home portion of the museum with beautiful ceilings...
... and period fashions. They also had a collection of consumer ads from the mid-1900's,
and political memorabilia. And a carousel!
Next stop: the Botanical Gardens.
