Kendall Lake in the CVNP
We circumnavigated the lake. Here, the trail goes through a tunnel. As explained in
the handy sign, this was to avoid crossing the toboggan run.
This whole area was developed in the 1930's by the CCC.
slight detour to check out the sledding slopes nearby. I hadn't realized
how close they were to Kendall Lake.
And right back down the hill to finish going around the lake.
