Anne drove to Gaithersburg in mid-February to spend a week with her mother.

We did the mentoring program on Friday afternoon.
After having dinner with 'our' student in the dining room, we
got an extremely well-received program on hot & cold from 2 local scientists.
The presentation included some liquid nitrogen, balloons, and other things.
The students were literally on the edge of their seats, hands waving in the air
when asked for input.

Mother decided to send the dragon rug home with me.
It was custom-made by Tibetan refugees in 1974. Mother and Dad ordered it
when they visited the Tibetan Refugee Center in Darjeeling, India.
