A flock of wild turkeys walked through the yard just before Christmas.
There were probably over 20 of them.
Here's a video of how fast they were moving.
Alan's final ceramics projects from the class at school.
This is his culminating project: a votive candle holder tower with a dragon.

This vase is a coil-pot that he spiralled up from a triangular base.
Beautiful sunrise as seen from the front door.
Early January wind storm topped a dead tree in the back yard.
Now it will be easier to take out the rest of the tree.
Driving down Gatewood during a rainstorm - the water flow
was interesting.
The backyard at Sentinel was a bit flooded.
Old coin that Laurie found in a drawer at Sentinel. Alan recognized the
Spanish coat-of-arms on it and identified it as coming from the 1700's.
We don't know yet if it's real or a good fake. Nor why it was at Sentinel.
Happy Birthday, Alan!
So many treasures to sort through at Sentinel, getting the house ready to sell.
This is the Christmas Village that used to go on Grandma Fowles' mantel.
Some pieces were packed in popcorn, which looked in pretty good shape for being
probably 30+ years old.
Jerry took on the garage.
A pumpkin pie for Jenny's birthday. As is now more-or-less traditional, we
sang Happy Birthday to her on the phone.
A hefty windstorm on March 8th flipped over the grill on the deck.
It also knocked out our power for hours, so Glen finally got out the
generator he'd converted to run off natural gas.
The generator saved the contents of the fridge and the freezer, and even
let us turn on the TV once Glen hooked up the antenna.
Happy Birthday, Gianna!
Jen and Joe themed the party as a dinosaur picnic, like one of Gianna's favorite books.
The large guest was definitely scary.
