David officially graduated on the 18th with a doctorate in math. He would be
starting his new job with Haverly in Denville, NJ on June 26th. So they were
in the midst of packing. Mother and Anne stayed in the local Motel 6, while Alan
got to use the guest room and a sleeping bag.
We enjoyed dinner out at Los Agaves, a very good local Mexican restaurant.
David celebrated with a fancy beverage.
Grandmother tries fish tacos.
They'd sold their car the day before, and now the parking space was occupied by
their moving pod. We'd see the pod again in New Jersey not quite 2 weeks later.
David and Alan visit while Jenny treated me to a load of laundry.
Brunch the next morning at Cajun Kitchen Cafe.
After brunch, it was time to take Jenny & David back to their apartment
and their packing, and for us to hit the road heading north to San Jose.
