After wandering through much of the botanical gardens, we
started on the Heritage Village. This area includes around 25 buildings of
historic significance that have been relocated here and restored. We toured
several, including a church, a general store, a doctor's office, an Victorian-style home,
and a train depot that are not pictured here.

Middle-class farmhouse, circa 1896.
Strange coincidence of names: they posted just one page of an old directory and it
happened to include the C's, including several Coopers and a Crawford.
Log cabin of around 1850.
The style included an open passage in the middle to catch cooling breezes
while still in the shade.
