We looked for a green spot on the map and decided to check out Jackson Ave River Park,
just a little to the west of Jenny & David. The weather was a heat wave so
not too many people out and about.
Some rodent seems to have bitten the dust on the trail.
Our conclusion was that it might be a nice place to explore in the winter
before it got too overgrown.

nice spot to have a picnic lunch break from work, if the temperature isn't in the 90's.
later, we drove northwest to scout out roadside fruit stands. This one actually had
both seedless and seeded watermelons, wonder of wonders.
