Hubbell Reunion in Michigan

Monday's bus tour to Copper Harbor.

People on the Bus

Eagle Harbor Lighthouse

Our first stop was at the snowfall 'thermometer'.

Mandy and Ben taking pictures of the rest of us.

The second stop was at Eagle River Falls.

Serendipitously, but not officially, this stop also included a playground.

Third, a brief stop at Great Sand Bay overlook.

Then on to our 4th stop, the Eagle Harbor Lighthouse. Click here for the rest of the lighthouse tour pics.

Lunch was at Copper Harbor. Some of us chose this restaurant, and Margie spotted the smoked trout pizza on the menu.

So she and I split one. Pretty good, once I stopped thinking of it as pizza.

6th stop was at Fort Wilkins State Park, also in the vicinity of Copper Harbor.

Some of us opted for dessert in the form of ice cream cones we could eat while strolling around the fort.

We walked to the water to get a glimpse of the Copper Harbor Lighthouse.

Looking over the pebbles, as one does on many Lake Superior beaches.

Thimbleberry bush.

Then on to the town of Hubbell.

We probably amused the locals with our picture-taking.

Shelton and Anne

Some people also ran to mail postcards or letters from the Hubbell post office.

Dottie was successful!

Last stop: Hubbell Park, also cause for picture-taking.

And finally, parked at Hubbell Park was a Hubbell-named garbage truck. All of these silly people (except for 7-year-old Ben) are HSML Board members!
