Both Mary and John Kimmel served in the military during WWII, so both
qualify to be interred at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in
Union Grove, WI.

Lunch afterwards was at a place on the edge of Lake Michigan that
Larry remembered his mom enjoying.
And back to the Homestead
The plan had been a dinner picnic by the pond, but the rain made that less
than comfortable, so we opted to be inside.
Kitty remembered Sean's birthday with a cake. He's a friend of John's and
is living at the Homestead as the caretaker.
