Hubbell Reunion in Michigan

Interment Ceremony for Aunt Mary and Uncle Johnny Kimmel. Kitty and Larry arranged for this event on the Tuesday before the Hubbell Reunion, since it could be on the way for the family traveling to Michigan.

Both Mary and John Kimmel served in the military during WWII, so both qualify to be interred at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.

Finding the burial spot.

The cone marks the next burial spot, not theirs. So Heather dashed in with an umbrella to obscure it for the picture.

Liam, Tessa, Colin

Lunch afterwards was at a place on the edge of Lake Michigan that Larry remembered his mom enjoying.

And back to the Homestead

The plan had been a dinner picnic by the pond, but the rain made that less than comfortable, so we opted to be inside.

Kitty remembered Sean's birthday with a cake. He's a friend of John's and is living at the Homestead as the caretaker.
