Spring 2020

COVID-19 struck the US as early as January 2020, but didn't really start impacting us until early March, when Governor DeWine listened to the excellent advice of Dr. Amy Acton and began implementing social distancing to reduce the spread of the virus. We stocked up on non-perishables in late February and early March, just in case. Kent State sent its students home on March 10th, so we are sheltering-in-place with Roger and Alan.

Mother's Day Zoom gathering

An online game of CandyLand with Lisa, Roger, Glen, and Nayla.

Happy Birthday, Roger!

We can't travel to see family in person, but everyone got on for a Zoom meeting.

Sarah figured out how to do a screen capture on her side. It was fun to watch the kids playing and saying hi.

Lisa is ready to go grocery shopping.

Roger graduated from Kent in May, despite having to finish the balance of Spring Semester online from home.

He was awarded two degrees: one in Computer Science, and one in Mathematics; both cum laude.
