South Chagrin Reservation: April 10th

Now that we're vaccinated, we felt safe getting together with Laurie & Rudy for a hike near them.

Roger spotted a Northern Brown Snake. They're typically around a foot long, so this is not necessarily a baby.

We spotted an owl in the distance, but the zoom lens revealed it to be a clever fake.

Looking down at the Chagrin River.

Serviceberry blossoms

Trout Lilies

Almost back to the car. This area had neatly-labelled trees.

Laurie made dinner for us back at their house - our first meal out in over a year.
