Echo Hills to Buckeye Trail: March 14th

We walked down the hill from Hickory Ridge in our neighborhood to where this local trail intersects the Buckeye Trail, about a mile.






















We explored this long-abandoned farmstead. This is probably a cistern.









The foundation and a bathtub or large sink.

Then we followed a path that looked like it might have been the road access long ago.



















And here are the remains of at least one vehicle.

The blue blaze indicates that we're at the Buckeye Trail. We turned around here and retraced our steps back up to Echo Hills.




And there's a bathtub.




Across the creek is the old tractor.




The arrow shows where the tractor is.




Another glimpse of the foundation as we head back.
